Bore Water in Te Waotu School
Water Source: Bore Water
Application: Te Waotu School
The school staffs were frustrated with the E.Coli bacteria found in their water and failing the water test (enforced by the Ministries of Education and Heath). Although their bore is deep, the water quality is affected by the proximity to farmlands and the harmful impurities/animal faecal matter from surface water run-off. They have changed a new pump and a new water storage tank to alleviate the problem, but the monthly water test still revealed there were E.Coli bacteria present in the bore water. They realized having their water properly treated is a more reliable solution.
The Aqua Central Water Purifier is now installed in their pump shed next to the bore. Bacteria, viruses, cysts, turbidity, and odor are physically removed before they enter the school. The students and teachers enjoy the peace of mind that safer, healthy and pure tasting water is accessible at every tap of all their school buildings for drinking, food preparation, cleaning and also for their swimming pool.
Water treatment was a necessity for the school to meet the strict drinking-water standard, so the risk of waterborne illness is minimized. The Aqua system physically removes 99.99999% of bacteria (E-Coli), 99.97% of viruses, cysts, particles, cloudiness (turbidity) and leaves in natural salts and healthy minerals.
Distributes healthy, great-tasting water at every tap of all the school buildings for the children and the teachers.
Automated daily self-cleaning of Aqua saves the staff’s time and money spent with on-going maintenance. Only annual servicing is required.
Minimizes the operating costs by using no electricity but only existing water pressure to filter.
“Finally there is no more E.Coli found in our monthly water test. We enjoy the peace of mind that safer, healthy water is accessible throughout the whole school (including the swimming pool) for our children and the teachers. Besides the high water quality that the Aqua system provides, we are particularly happy that the system is well-built to clean itself daily, hence we are relaxed and don’t need to spend our valuable time on maintenance for the entire year.”
