On a rural or private water supply? You’re in the right place.

Bore, River, Creek, Spring & Dam Water Solutions

At Aqua, we know that every water source is unique — and so are the challenges that come with it. Whether your supply comes from a bore, river, creek, spring, or dam, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all recommendations.

Before we suggest any product or system, we first take the time to understand what’s in your water and what you need from it. That means:

  • Gathering details about your site and setup
  • Learning more about how the water will be used
  • Collecting a sample for laboratory testing

Once we have this information, our water quality specialists can design a tailored treatment solution that fits your environment, usage, and long-term goals — ensuring you get it right the first time.

We’re passionate about delivering safe, clean, great-tasting water no matter where it comes from. That’s why we’ve outlined a simple step-by-step process below to make getting started easy and transparent.

Water Testing & On-Site Assessment

Before recommending any system, Aqua takes the time to understand your water source, property setup, and goals.

We want to get it right the first time — so whether you need a professional site visit, a DIY test kit, or already have recent lab results, we make the process simple and transparent.

Option 1: On-Site Visit & Professional Test

Need an on-site visit and water test? You’re in the right place.

1. Book a Site Visit

Contact us to arrange a convenient time. Your local Aqua Technician will visit your property, discuss your water needs, take photos, and collect a sample for testing.

2. Water Sample Collection

The technician will collect your sample directly from the water source — before any storage tanks or treatment equipment (except for rainwater). You may need to provide access to the supply point.

3. Needs Analysis Form

During the visit, we’ll complete a detailed Needs Analysis Form, recording:

  • Pump and equipment details
  • Flow rates and water pressure
  • A diagram of your current setup
  • Any issues or goals you want to address

4. Getting the Sample to the Lab

Depending on your location and the type of test required, your technician will courier or hand-deliver the sample to the lab for professional analysis.

5. Results & Review

Once results are received, our team reviews them alongside your Needs Analysis to determine the right equipment, system layout, and installation plan for your site.

6. Quote & Recommendations

You’ll receive a full report including:

  • A summary of your test results
  • Identified issues and how we’ll resolve them
  • A schematic diagram of your recommended setup
  • A detailed quote with pricing and next steps

Option 2: DIY Water Test Kit

Prefer to test it yourself? We’ve got you covered.

1. Order Your Test Kit

Request a kit, and we’ll courier it to you with everything you need — bottles, labels, and instructions.

2. Collect Your Sample

Follow the guide below for your specific water source:

  • Bore Water: Run the bore for 20 minutes, then fill all bottles to the top. Do not collect after tanks or treatment.
  • Rain Water: Run a tap supplied by your tank for at least 5 minutes. Take the sample before any filters or UV units.
  • Surface Water (Creek, Spring, River, Dam): Collect water before any tanks, filters, or treatment. Flush pipes first to remove standing water.

3. Complete the Forms

Fill out the Chain of Custody form.

Complete the Needs Analysis Form with as much detail as possible, including site photos if available.

4. Package & Send Your Samples

  • Ensure all bottles are tightly sealed and labelled.
  • Include the Chain of Custody form inside the packaging.
  • If provided, include a frozen ice pack.
  • Seal the package securely and use the pre-paid courier sticker.

  • ⚠️ Bacteria samples must reach the lab within 24 hours.

5. Results & Quote

Once your results are in, we’ll review them alongside your Needs Analysis and provide:

  • A written explanation of any issues
  • A schematic of your proposed solution
  • A detailed quote and recommendations

Option 3: Already Have a Water Test Report?

Perfect, we can work with that.

1. Request a Needs Analysis Form

Complete and return the form (including setup photos if possible) via the email provided.

2. Attach Your Test Results

Include your most recent water test results — they must be within the last three months to ensure accuracy.

3. Review & Recommendation

Our specialists will analyse your results and system setup to design a treatment plan tailored to your property.

4. Quote & System Design

You’ll receive a full report, schematic diagram, and a quote outlining your recommended equipment and installation layout.
